Regarding the responsibility of the Maritime Security Working Group, the issues of environmental awareness and the information sharing are of high importance. Consequently, the following measures should be taken:

| 2. | Regarding the importance of interacting with similar organisations, the IONS Secretariat should take the necessary measures to commence an expanded co-operation with WPNS. |
| 3. | Members of the MARSEC IWG shall provide the IONS secretariat with the working group's guidelines prior to the Oman IPW meeting (in two months). |
| 4. | Regarding the IONS Maritime Exercises, the first counter-piracy exercise which will be held by the periodic chair of IONS (Iran), countries should announce how they will contribute (their capabilities, qualities, etc.) by the end of April 2019. IRIN will send the invitations momentarily. The briefing session is expected in June 2019. |
